Een school in Meppel is maandag ontruimd vanwege een mogelijke dreiging. Een woordvoerder van de politie kan desgevraagd niet aan NU.nl vertellen of er een verband is met een school in Zwolle die maandag dicht bleef vanwege een dreiging.

De politiewoordvoerder vertelt dat het gaat om het gebouw van de middelbare school CSG Dingstede in Meppel, aan de Gerard Doustraat.

Inmiddels heeft de politie onderzoek gedaan in het gebouw, waar niks verdachts is aangetroffen. “Iedereen kan straks weer naar binnen. Nader onderzoek naar de aard van de melding loopt”, schrijft de politie.

Waar de leerlingen die in de school waren heen zijn gebracht na de ontruiming, kan de woordvoerder niet zeggen. Ook kan de politie nog geen verdere informatie delen over de ontruiming en de mogelijke dreigende situatie.

RTV Oost meldde eerder dat het in Zwolle om een fysieke dreiging gaat en dat deze zondag is ontvangen. Volgens de directeur van het Deltion Sprint Lyceum daar heeft de dreiging geen gevolgen voor het Deltion College aan de Mozartlaan.

Het Deltion Sprint Lyceum staat aan de Bagijnesingel in Zwolle. De school valt onder het voortgezet algemeen volwassenenonderwijs (vavo) en biedt versnelde opleidingen. Het CSG Dingstede in Meppel is een middelbare school waar mavo-, havo- en atheneumonderwijs wordt aangeboden.
