The 20-year-old TikTok personality that calls himself “Flinke Jongen” has been arrested after an incident on the Ostend to Eupen train on Thursday evening. As the train called at the station in the West Flemish city of Bruges three passengers including the well-known TikTok figure, whose real name is Alexander Tseboyev, physically assaulted the train’s guard. The female train guard will be unable to work for several days as a result of her injuries. Both the victim and the Belgian rail company NMBS have lodged complaints against the assailants.
Near Bruges station, the train guard was allegedly physically attacked by three passengers. The woman was allegedly hit by her assailants. Officers from the Bruges Local Police and the Federal Railway Police boarded the train and one person was arrested.
In a statement NMBS said that “The train guard was taken to hospital and will remain at home for several days to recover from the incident”. Both the guard and NMBS are taking civil action against the assailants. The public prosecutor’s office has also launched a criminal investigation.
Not the first incident
VRT NWS has learned from several sources that the person arrested is “Flinke Jongen”. The 20-year-old from Wingene (West Flanders) is well-known to those that frequent the video publication social media platform TikTok.
In October 2023, “Flinke Jongen” entered the drivers cabin of a train without permission and then shared footage of himself playing with the controls of the train on his TikTok channel.
At around the period he also filmed himself disrupting lectures at the PXL Collage of Higher Education and the University of Hasselt. Both have since lodged complaints against the TikTok personality.
At the end of October last year, a court in the East Flemish city of Ghent convicted Alexander Tseboyev of extortion. He was found guilty of having forced a teenager to give him 650 euro at Ghent’s main railway station.
